"The Turtle Herder" : 9" Tall - Sculpted in colored Polymer clay.

Coming to you from the lost tropical islands of Mad. the turtle herder spends his days farming and watching over his flock of sea turtles. They Spend most of their young life living and swimming with these same turtles. They look so much like the sea turtles that even the eldest of their clan cannot tell the difference. It isn't until later on in life they slowly begin to differ from their more common cousins. The live very long fruitful lives, sometimes as much as 2 centuries, feeding on sand fleas and Island fruits they take wives and live in elaborate burrows in the sandiest part of the Mad beaches. Here he sits in all his glory for your enjoyment. This is the 3rd piece in my after dark collection. All the pieces in the collection react to a black light.
