"Worm in the Jar ver.1" : 10" Tall - Sculpted in polymer clay.

This is a special piece. What we have here is an infant Sadu.  The eggs of these larva’s are found in the fish eaten by the Goblin.  The digestive system of the Goblin cannot process the eggs and they pass them without knowing.  The egg then hatches and the larva will live in the droppings for two days.  It then burrows under the ground and packs the waste in around itself forming a type of cocoon.  It incubates there for two more days and then emerges a full-grown Sadu.  It then ravenously feeds on the Goblin that inhabits the caves on the islands of Mad.  Full grown the Sadu is only half the size of the Goblins, however they are fierce and will tear through an entire settlement of Goblin if not taken out.  For the most part the Goblin take measures to prevent the Sadu from hatching and feed their droppings to the Alisma.  Lucky them...   This piece was sculpted with polymer clay and the jar is a thick glass.  A sketch done by The Mad Artist inspired it, if you would like to see some of his works visit my links page.
